2009 JLYSSL Master TryOut Schedules

Your Jack London Youth Soccer Sports league (JLYSSL) is proud to announce the third year of  its league wide tryout schedule for all clubs. The  "2009 JLYSSL  Master Tryout Schedule for Class 1 and Class 3 Competitive Soccer” is now available online.

What is the goal for JLYSSL with this information ?  

The league’s goal is to make it easy for parents, coaches and players to find out what opportunities are provided within our eight JLYSSL clubs to play competitive soccer.

What are the JLYSSL Competitive Soccer programs?

Bay Oaks offers JLYSSL’s Class 1 program, the highest level of Competitive Soccer. Alameda Select, GrassValley Vipers, Montclair Clippers, Piedmont Highlanders, Oakland Select and Rockridge Sting together make up the JLYSSL Class 3 program, the next level down from Class 1 Competitive Soccer.  The Class 1 and Class 3 programs each provide unique opportunities for player development and competition depending on player talent, desire and  commitment levels. We encourage every JLYSSL player to tryout and learn more about these programs.

When are the Competitive Soccer TryOuts  ?

This year Class 1 tryouts start on Feb 28-Mar 6th for U9-U14 and April 13-21 for U14-U19 age-groups and  Class 3 tryouts start March 7th-March 21st for all age-groups.

How can I get prepared for the JLYSSL Tryouts ?

JLYSSL is sponsoring pre-tryout training clinics in February. All players interested in trying out for competitive soccer (either Class 1 or Class 3) are encouraged to join these training sessions. They are free of cost.
